Seattle Neighborhoods

Story:
I originally made this map for a friend who was raised in Seattle and has since moved away, but misses home and wanted to remember this great city in a beautiful way. I mapped the neighborhoods of Seattle in a simple and clean manner so that Seattleites can identify places based on their spatial knowledge, while others can still admire the map as a piece of art. This map is now available to the public in a variety of color schemes and sizes.

Color:
When I first made this map I used a green-blue color scheme that I felt best captured the climate and weather of the Northwest. I've since expanded the color options to include three new schemes. Please contact me about custom color requests.

Size:
Prints available in 12x18, 18x24, and 20x30 -- size includes .5" white border.

Note on the Process:
This is a digitally made GIS-map using data from the King County GIS Center. Each map is locally printed using archival toner ink on 120lb paper with a matte finish. The 18x24 and 20x30 sizes are printed on 10 mil ultra-smooth matte poster paper, which produces a brighter color and smoother texture.

Shipping:
I hand-check each map for flaws and will personally package and ship with shipping insurance within 1 week of ordering (please allow additional time for custom color scheme requests).
